Today’s header image is inspired by The Game Awards, which is a humorously sincere attempt at an awards show along the lines of the Emmys or Oscars, but for games. As with most attempts to bring more “legitimacy” to the medium of games by striving to emulate TV or film, it ends up being a touch awkward. In any case, that award show is airing tonight and is planning to host a community live thread later today. I’ll link to it when it’s available, and if I remember!
