The cultists knew exactly which one to look for next to complete their sacrifice. They made themselves visible to the partygoers, flattering them, listening to their sorrows, wrapping sympathetic arms around them, ensuring nobody could ever suspect they had something to do with these killings. The mood was low after the many deaths thus far, and nobody noticed one of them slipping towards the room where Thoughts had lain after the brutal suicide of the sailor.
But the cultist was too late. Thoughts lay upon the floor, her throat opened to the elements, already drained of ichor, a pallor having set over her one-beautiful features. The Mad Soul had beaten to this prize. The cultist swore under their breath, and prepared themselves. Then ran screaming from the room.
Thoughts was a mere Partygoer (Vanilla Town).
