This past week, we bore witness to the passing of Patrick Stewart, an actor beloved for such roles as Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek, Charles Xavier in the X-Men movies, and Avery Bullock in the animated sitcom American Dad!

Many people across the Internet have paid tribute to Sir Patrick’s passing in their own way. And for Ad Space, that way is finding a commercial featuring Patrick Stewart delivering a moving speech (in the way only Stewart can) about saying farewell and moving on after loss … and ending with a suggestion that we all go out and get drunk.

I’m sure this is the role Patrick Stewart would most want to be remembered for.
