Movieacados! Welcome to the weekly movie threat… ahem… thread. As it is officially Halloween week, or Halloweek if you will, I think it is time to finally acknowledge what has grown to be my most favourite of movie genres Horror! That is to say, in the Spirit of the growth of the genre over the years: Horror, Thriller, Suspense, a bit of comedy mixed in, anything with Rob Schneider in it (if Schneider is involved does not count as comedy mixed in)…

I do understand that scary movies are not everyone’s thing, however I do love them. A lot have great social commentary/allegory (also a lot do not unfortunately), I LOVE being creeped out by things, and I find this type of movie can be a lot of fun, and often pretty memorable. Even if you do not like them you probably remember your first scary movie.

So while short (life has been coming at me pretty fast lately), this week’s prompt is: What is your favourite movie for the Halloween season? And it does not have to be a scary one, any move you like to watch this time of year counts.
