The Day Thread Ranks R.E.M.’s Albums: #4

This is part of a series of mini-reviews of R.E.M.’s studio albums, ranked worst to best. (Don’t worry; I’ll keep them short.)

#4: Fables of the Reconstruction.

This has a dark atmosphere which, although the band disowned it later, I think is gorgeous.

BEST SONGS: Maps and Legends and every song following it. God, I love this record!

WORST SONGS: Just because I didn’t mention Feeling Gravitys Pull doesn’t mean it isn’t great.

I had a very hard time choosing which song to feature here.
