This is part of a series of mini-reviews of R.E.M.’s studio albums, ranked worst to best. (Don’t worry; I’ll keep them short.)
#8: Document.
The record that had their first major hit and began breaking them into the mainstream. A good solid album.
BEST SONGS: Finest Worksong, Welcome To The Occupation, Disturbance At The Heron House, Its* The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine), The One I Love, King Of Birds.
WORST SONGS: I’m not much for Fireplace.
*NOT A TYPO!! That’s how they spelled it.
