A cartoon coyote hires a human lawyer to sue a monopolizing corporation. Amusing but often feels like it needs another draft. It lacks the complexity of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Or even Detective Pikachu. Character motivations are thin. The world-building never quite explains what role cartoons play in this society. What it has is a deep sense of outrage. And HBO’s meta narrative to enhance it.
