So…I have a weird Mandela Effect going on with this. For years–and I mean years–I was certain “Missy Fussy” came from an episode of The Puzzle Place where the kids all became addicted to television and featured several comedy sketches similar to this one. Turns out it was from…an episode of Shining Time Station? Huh. Maybe that show is funnier than I remember it being since this is genuinely great stuff. It’s like an SNL sketch which doesn’t wear out its welcome by dragging on for six and a half minutes. But…I just really thought this was from that one Puzzle Place escapade. Especially since that jingle has been etched in my brain since childhood. Then again, it turns out The Puzzle Place has been very poorly cataloged online thanks to it getting only a handful of home video releases and no streaming availability whatsoever, so apparently at least 20 of its episodes are considered to be “lost media” now. Huh.
