The Peeling Paint Night Thread (August 25, 2026)

There is a railway bridge I walk across almost every day, and after almost 180 winters and summers, dozens of coats of paint in different colours and an incalculable amount of rain, it’s iron barriers are now decorated in beautiful patterns of peeling paint and rust which I get to share with you tonight:

There is no true decay without beauty
