WW 249: Spy x Family – Day 6

Night falls once again. In the distance, amidst the white noise of the city life humming, music can be heard.

One girl, guitar in hand, shreds along the fretboard in the dead of night, alone.

It’s easier to play alone. Her friends are nice, but sometimes she needs her space to work on her own.

The music is her friend. The sounds have been there for her since before she could remember. As much as it didn’t help her get any more popular in school, it is something she did get good at. Music doesn’t judge, music doesn’t stare, music doesn’t try to force her to interact with others.

Being out in the open isn’t an option, because heaven forbid someone actually sees her playing, so the cardboard box always comes along. The box is safe. The box is like home.

Unfortunately, the box is also hard to run in. A fish in a cardboard barrel, she cannot escape her fate.

Lamb Dance has died. They were Franky Franklin (town role investigator).

Some were not in the musical mood. Usually they would be, but not today.

No, today is a day to wine and dine. ‘Dine’ in this case meaning more wine.

It feels good to take in the sights and sounds.

But it dulls the senses. It can make you unable to perceive your surroundings ideally.

They say curiosity killed the cat. But this Kitty would say something else has taken her nine lives.

Emmelemm has died. She was Yor Forger (former town, independent sleeper SK).

Roles

Town

Town wins when either WISE or the SSS completes their respective win conditions, or if both are eliminated simultaneously, provided Town still has any numbers remaining and no other win conditions interfere.

  • Berlint citizens – Simply going about their lives.
  • Bond Forger – Can see the future and might be able to do something about it.
  • Franky Franklin – Knows a thing or two, might be willing to share.

Westalian Intelligence Services’ Eastern-Focused Division (WISE)

WISE wins when all members of the SSS, Donovan Desmond, and Yor Forger are eliminated, or if they outnumber all other living players, and no other win conditions interfere.

  • Loid Forger – A master of disguise who can look and act like anyone.
  • Sylvia Sherwood – Handler of WISE, in charge of the new recruits and who can call Twilight early.
  • Fiona Frost – A capable spy who may do certain things for the sake of her crush.
  • Unnamed WISE agent – New to the scene, will get experience as they do grunt work.

State Security Service (SSS)

The SSS wins when all members of WISE and Yor Forger are eliminated, or if they outnumber all other living players, and no other win conditions interfere.

  • Director Wilker – Head of the SSS, hoping to see some new blood in action to keep peace in Ostania.
  • Captain Curtis – Seasoned veteran, knows how to stop trouble.
  • Yuri Briar – Good at his job, as long as his sister doesn’t get hurt.
  • Unnamed SSS agent – New to the scene, will get experience as they do grunt work.

Independent

  • Donovan Desmond – A mysterious man with mysterious motives.
  • Anya Forger – Can read minds, hoping to find a family.
  • Yor Forger – Harmful.
