WW 249: Spy x Family – Day 5

It is often taken for granted when one has someone to come home to at the end of a day.

There is no knowing when that comforting presence could leave.

Sometimes they leave and then come back. Or they just sneak to a top shelf and make one think they’ve either disappeared or hidden behind something that is impossible to get to the back of and one thinks to oneself how one comes to love such a stinker of a creature.

But there are some that leave and never return.

There are those unfortunate enough to run into people who have nothing to lose, who need something to take their rage and hatred out on. And sometimes it is delivered towards the most vulnerable.

They’ve already done the worst they could to a dog, what different would it be to do the same to a cat?

At this point, there is no level to which they cannot sink.

Lindsay has died. She was the unnamed WISE agent (WISE recruit).

As if this isn’t enough, more animal cruelty can be found elsewhere in the city.

Those who find themselves caught in such brutality sometimes will find themselves subject to it over and over again.

Already beaten to a pulp, a frog can only take so much. Escaping death once is a hard enough feat in and of itself.

For this one amphibian, such a feat cannot be repeated.

Indy has died. He was Yuri Briar (SSS role investigator).

Cycles of hate and destruction perpetuate until there is no more blood to shed, only tears. An eye for an eye leaves both blind, but such cries fall on deaf ears.

In this deadly game, revenge only begets revenge. Death can only bring more death. What havoc that has been unleashed as a result will not end well. It never does.

Roles

Town

Town wins when either WISE or the SSS completes their respective win conditions, or if both are eliminated simultaneously, provided Town still has any numbers remaining and no other win conditions interfere.

  • Berlint citizens – Simply going about their lives.
  • Bond Forger – Can see the future and might be able to do something about it.
  • Franky Franklin – Knows a thing or two, might be willing to share.

Westalian Intelligence Services’ Eastern-Focused Division (WISE)

WISE wins when all members of the SSS, Donovan Desmond, and Yor Forger are eliminated, or if they outnumber all other living players, and no other win conditions interfere.

  • Loid Forger – A master of disguise who can look and act like anyone.
  • Sylvia Sherwood – Handler of WISE, in charge of the new recruits and who can call Twilight early.
  • Fiona Frost – A capable spy who may do certain things for the sake of her crush.
  • Unnamed WISE agent – New to the scene, will get experience as they do grunt work.

State Security Service (SSS)

The SSS wins when all members of WISE and Yor Forger are eliminated, or if they outnumber all other living players, and no other win conditions interfere.

  • Director Wilker – Head of the SSS, hoping to see some new blood in action to keep peace in Ostania.
  • Captain Curtis – Seasoned veteran, knows how to stop trouble.
  • Yuri Briar – Good at his job, as long as his sister doesn’t get hurt.
  • Unnamed SSS agent – New to the scene, will get experience as they do grunt work.

Independent

  • Donovan Desmond – A mysterious man with mysterious motives.
  • Anya Forger – Can read minds, hoping to find a family.
  • Yor Forger – Harmful.

Rules

Players are not allowed to edit comments, nor can they quote or screenshot private chats without permission from the moderator. Failure to do so may result in a modkill.

Ties will result in all tied players being killed.

Should an EDEN (Elimination, Doom, or End Nearing) scenario occur, autokill will not go into effect until all players have voted.
