Welcome to The Avocado’s weekly discussion of Japanese pop culture! If you like slice-of-life then I highly recommend you check out the J-drama Hirayasumi! It’s based on a manga that I haven’t read, but I know it’s pretty popular in Japan and now that I’ve watched a few episodes of the show I can see why. It’s very sweet and chill and the acting is great. The lead actor (Amane Okayama) is one of my favorites (and Ralph’s too, we love him in everything we’ve seen him in). So yeah, check it out!
