This is part of a series of mini-reviews of Paul McCartney’s studio albums, ranked worst to best. (Don’t worry; I’ll keep them short.)
Next in line: McCartney III
WHY IT’S AVERAGE: At this point, Paul’s records stop being bad and begin to be various levels of good.
BEST SONGS: Long Tailed Winter Bird; Women And Wives; Deep Deep Feeling; Winter Bird/When Winter Comes.
WORST SONGS: The only one I don’t care much for is Slidin’.
WHY YOU SHOULD TRY IT: See my review on The Avocado. https://the-avocado.org/2021/02/14/album-spotlight-paul-mccartney-mccartney-iii/
