Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro
Hosted by wildlife conservationist and “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 Champion Robert Irwin, Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro features 12 exceptional up-and-coming dancers who move into one house and compete in a grueling audition process, all vying for a coveted spot as a pro dancer on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars. Three-time Mirrorball champion Mark Ballas and his mother, Shirley Ballas “The Queen of Latin” will serve as judges. They will be joined by a star-studded lineup of returning pros who will serve as rotating mentors/guest judges.
Starring: Robert Irwin, Shirley Ballas, Mark Ballas
Quick Thoughts: A couple things…
1. Fox ruined So You Think You Can Dance and I will take what I can get.
2. This doesn’t seem super sustainable for multiple seasons because there’s a set amount of pros on Dancing With the Stars with minimal turnover. Does the winner of this just get booted after one season?
3. Maura Higgins ended Love Island dating a ballroom dancer named Curtis. Because she was such a standout on The Traitors, she will be a contestant on the next season of Dancing With The Stars. One of these little dancer boys vying to be a pro is Curtis’ little brother so there is a chance she could end up paired with him if he wins.
