The Girl of Steel is finally here! Directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya; Cruella; Fright Night) and starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, Supergirl is the second official cinematic entry in James Gunn’s nacent DC Universe. Based on the graphic novel Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, the film sees Kara approached by a young girl (Ruthye, played by Eve Ridley) to help her avenge the death of her family by tracking down their killer, Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts). Also, the Main Man himself, Lobo (Jason Momoa) shows up to complicate matters.
