Welcome to Avocado Plug & Play 2026! This is an attempted revival of Plug & Play, original run by DW in 2020. It’s effectively a gaming counterpart to Scott’s Sight & Sound polls. I want y’all to list your Top 10 favorite Video Games in the comments below, and based on your votes I’ll put together a list of The Avocado’s favorite games of all-time.
Some guidelines:
- Your list can only contain 10 titles; no more, no less. Of course, you may share honorable mentions if you want.
- Only Video Games allowed. I’m not being too picky about what counts as a video game. Console Games, Computer Games, Visual Novels, VR/AR Games, Mobile Games, and Browser Games are all allowed if you want to go there. Just don’t go for Board Games or anything like that.
- Obvious joke ballots will not be counted
- I prefer you list 10 individual video games, but I won’t stop you from using a spot on your list for an entire series if you want. I’ll see how many people do that and figure out how I want to count it.
- I might for certain games choose to count different versions of it together (for example, Tetris) but you can still specify which version you’re voting for.
- Do NOT mock other people’s lists. This is supposed to be a fun thing and nastiness will not be tolerated.
- Try to keep your lists in alphabetical order. If not, no worries.
- Please at a minimum include the title and release year of the game you’re voting for. Listing the developer is a plus but not required.
- Your criteria should be games you like the most!
