The remaining contestants felt a bit smug as they entered the dining hall for supper that evening.

“You know, it’s been a wild festival so far, but I think today went pretty well,” said Rex the Rougarou.

“We rode another Mascot out of town on a rail and sent them to Arkansas,” objected Roomie. “That’s pretty harsh.”

“Nah, have you seen Vic’s original design?”

“Fucking fuck!”

As the remaining contestants ate a delicious dinner of grilled oysters, shrimp remoulade, blackened catfish, and bread pudding, the monitor in the dining room flickered on. It was Aubie on Zoom from Auburn!

“Hey, take it from me, 11-time Mascot of the Year, Aubie, you gotta be cutthroat in this game. You gotta go for the kill. You gotta give it 160% and take out that jugular, you know? So WTF are you idiots doing? Peace out!”

No one has died.

Day Six will end at 6:00pm CST on Saturday, May 23rd.
