Happy Monday, folks, and welcome to the Weekly Video Games Thread!

I’ve been recently playing around with Blippo+, an experimental comedy game that presents you with a series of shows and channels on a fictional TV station. You watch clips and flip between stations. There’s not too much to it, which is why it’s not a game you seem to “beat,” just experience. It’s very funny, and while I’m not going to pretend it’s anything but an acquired taste, I do think it does gel with the general tenor of the Avocado and the Games Thread. Game’s on Steam, Switch, and Itchio; maybe give it a wishlist.

This leads wonderfully into today’s prompt: what are your favorite “shows within a show?” This could be an actual TV show, like Alan Wake‘s “Twin Peaks ripoff that’s really a Twilight Zone ripoff” Night Springs. It could be a radio program, like the various productions on Pokémon Gold & Silver‘s Goldenrod Radio Tower. It could be a novel, like the Super Luigi series of novels in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door that varnish Luigi’s low reputation. However, I’m going to ask that you refrain from referring to games within games. I think those could stand to have their own prompt.
