I think the most amazing thing about Sha Na Na is that they existed for 53 years, and when they wrapped up they managed to have two members who were there from the beginning to the end… which is two more than many other bands.

Growing up in the 90’s, I understand how nostalgia runs in cycles. However, I struggle to understand how the late 60’s / early 70’s were obsessed with the 50’s. Sha Na Na played Woodstock and also had their TV show. Their series ran for 97 episodes and spanned five years. Five years!!
