K-Tel released this compilation in Australia in 1973. Yes, that Avocado sticker is covering up what you think it is. Traditionally, other nations didn’t have the relationship with blackface that the United States has had, but even in the 70’s it seems like a bad idea. I couldn’t just skip this comp, though, because it’s just too good. K-Tel would reuse this title in other countries in a few years, but without the exclamation point, and mercifully, without the blackface.
