Welcome to The Avocado’s weekly discussion of Japanese pop culture! Instead of just releasing the title track and a Music Video on Sunday, &TEAM dropped the whole EP and I promptly lost my entire mind. Partly because I was at work and couldn’t listen properly, partly because I was already super sleep deprived because I stayed up way too late freaking out about a whole Taemin/Fuma thing I’ll explain in the comments, and partly because IT IS SO GOOD!!! Look at them! They are so cool! They sound so good! How are they even real?

The next day, as if I to test my ability to remain even a little normal, they released their first ever behind the scenes recording video. Friends, I cannot explain to you how much I cried watching this silly little video. It’s just really cool to see their process, to hear their raw voices, and to fully appreciate how hard they worked on these songs.

The last few days have been A LOT. Every time I thought I knew what this header was going to include, something new happened. For example, K is going to be a movie star!

If you’re a Blue Lock fan I hope you get a chance to see the movie! I’m sure you’ll love K as Nagi. He’s really amazing, I promise! 💖
