Movieacados! I have been slammed at home/work/personally and time just got away from me, however I have a duty and as much as I like to take inspiration from real life for my prompts, well I did a time travel prompt not that long ago so that is out for this week. Luckily however I did take part in some movie discussions this week and a fair amount of them were around bad movies and movies that were not well received (not necessarily bad).

Even if you do not like a movie chances are you do not hate everything about it. There are so many aspects to a movie’s production with the possibility of talented people working on said movie that there is a fair chance it does at least something well. A lot of terrible movies have a lot of great performances for example, where the actor knows it is a bad movie but they are professionals so they go and emote, over emote and chew all the scenery as if the bad movie could not afford catering. Some bad action movies manage great action sequence or even sequences and some scores are just divine to listen to. At the end of the day if you are willing to look you are bound to find something to enjoy.

So this week’s prompt (which in point of fact was written in under 10 minutes) is: Say something nice! Pick a movie you may not have enjoyed, or you know there is a large consensus of those who do not like it and say something nice about it, find that thing you enjoyed and share it with all of us.
