Hey gang! Today’s New Game Releases (AKA, Tuesday New Games) is going to be a quick one this week. Two thing happened, I was in Las Vegas most of last week AND I got sick; yay! On that note, there will not be any commentary on the new games or notable titles, my apologies. I think it’s mostly fine, though, as the only major release is Pokémon Champions, a free-to-start game for the Switch that is, basically, a modern version of Pokémon Stadium. For the rest of the top releases, I am just highlighting the games that are all multi-platform; hopefully you see something you like!

Everything else:

Notable Releases from 10, 20, and 30 years ago:

I’m not going to go in-depth on anything here, but just wanted to point out that Dark Souls III is my favorite game in the series, Odama is a strange pinball game from Nintendo, one of the last to be published by the company for the GameCube, and I probably love Street Fighter Alpha 2 more than Street Fighter II.

I don’t have much to say about the notable films, except that Primal Fear was Edward Norton’s film debut and the guy got a Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his performance; not bad. On the notable albums, it’s crazy that the Japanese idol/metal group BABYMETAL hit so big in America, I listened to Calexico’s Garden Ruin album religiously throughout 2006, and I wish I had gotten into Bikini Kill in the 90’s because I would have loved them.

If you like what I’m doing here consider supporting me on Patreon. You can also find me on Blue Sky where I occasionally make jokes and talk about stuff I like. I used to eat a lot of corndogs but then I got Type-2 diabetes.
