The 3/28 Hockey Thread Shuts It Down… Again

As the PWHL regular season comes to a close, the Toronto Sceptres came into their home game Friday night against the league-leading Boston Fleet hoping to pick up at least a point or two and put some distance in the standings between themselves and the Ottawa Charge for the last playoff spot. Boston goalie Aerin Frankel was having none of that, however, earning her third straight shutout and seventh of the season to take the Fleet to a 4-0 victory — again showing why she has the league’s best nickname as “the Green Monster”.

The regular-season hockey threads won’t be pinned, so you might want to keep this open in a separate tab if you’d like to keep an eye on it until the next one goes up. (Considering how fast unpinned posts slide down the home page, I’ll probably be slapping up a new one of these every Tuesday and Saturday as long as I remember to do so.) Otherwise, you can always find these under the Sports > Hockey menu at the top of the home page.

Have fun and happy hockey!
