As is tradition, something vaguely, sort-of Irish for the holiday!

Irish Drinking Song was a recurring game on the American version of Whose Line Is It Anyway, where the four performers would take an audience suggestion and sing about it. But the game quickly gained a reputation as “the one where Colin Mochrie tries to break everyone else on stage”, and he usually succeeded at that. The best example of that?

Meow.

I love how as Colin sings “boy we had some fun” he’s already looking over at Ryan; he might not have known exactly what was coming but they’d been a comedy duo long enough for him to know something was. Also, this is one of the few times I can remember where Laura Hall had to stop playing. When you break the piano player? You deserve all of the points.

Some other worthwhile Irish Drinking Songs – Broke Up, Passed Wind, Graduation, Knocked Over The Tree, Divorce (from the Aisha era!), Got Mugged, and the other Graduation – the time Colin didn’t have to say anything at all.
