Three years ago this week, I took over Wednesday PT duties. Over these three years, we did some explorations of political and Avocado history, we talked about science, we talked about global and local news, we read many articles from ProPublica, we learned a lot about my very specific hobby horses, and you patiently put up with me phoning it in too many times. But we white dudes are best known for knowing when to step back and let other voices lead. So starting next week, Wasp will be taking over for Wednesdays!

It has been such a privilege to be able to welcome you to Wednesdays. I’ve enjoyed it, and I hope to return to PT headers someday down the road. But in the interim, a break will be nice — and I’m excited to see what Wasp brings!

So join me in welcoming Wasp to Wednesdays, and pretend we’re doing a totally cool handoff in the Super Sentai style.
