The Weekly Shuffle Thread is Set in STONE!

The Stone Roses – Elephant Stone (RIP Mani!)

Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of the Weekly Shuffle Thread, your favorite place to show off your shuffles! Yesterday, the world of rock music lost one of its finest bass players, as Gary Mounfield, better known as Mani, passed away at the too-young age of 63. His best-known work was in the band The Stone Roses, who not only had the word “Stone” in their name, but several songs featuring that word in the titles. So in tribute to one of my favorite bassists, let’s go get stoned and make our special word of the day STONE!

Share your favorite songs featuring the word “Stone” in the title of them! But if finding songs that fit todays topic is harder than drawing blood from a stone, don’t turn into a rolling stone and head off somewhere else! You can post any playlist that you’ve been listening to on shuffle play for the past week! Happy shuffling everybody, and I’ll see and hear you all next time!
