Gracey and Leota Night Thread

Looking back as it draws to a close, I did a lot of things in the 29th year of my life[footnote]Non-exhaustive and non-chronological list: pet a baby capybara, lost twenty-five pounds, got Completionist+ on Balatro, helped my grandparents celebrate their 91st birthdays, cooked a corned beef for the first time, took the LSAT for the love of the game, hung some Criterions above my TV, auditioned for Jeopardy!, accidentally hiked through a swamp, wrote a well-received anonymous essay about instant mashed potatoes, visited a brand new theme park, left a keepsake in the projection booth of the AMC Lincoln Square, started a substack, road tripped to Virginia and back to stay with a friend, climbed several trees, actually went on some dates, watched 286 movies, pulled off an Indiana Jones costume, visited five haunts, saw Weird Al in concert, started drinking coffee, attended three Broadway shows, presented at a professional conference for five minutes, met eight Avocadoes in person across three separate occasions, acquired a bottle of green chartreuse, cracked 2:00 on the NYT Monday crossword, finally tried deep fried Oreos, drew a picture of a whale wearing sunglasses and holding a gun.[/footnote] but making a thread about all that would seem self-indulgent and humble-braggy. To avoid that I’m going to give the people what they really want: pictures I took during the last year of my cats Master Gracey…

Begging for attention
Pretending to be a kaiju

Posing with her namesake
Mugging for the camera

Gracey & Leota turned two this spring and I love them more every day except for when Leota chews through another set of shoelaces. Happy posting!
