Those of you who’d like to post future Creative Endeavors Threads post your request in the comments below. Hey, Kevzero here, I’m an amateur photographer based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I mostly take wildlife photos, but have been recently taking pictures of many other things. This week: Ring-necked Pheasants. Native to Asia, the Ring-necked Pheasant is a gamebird that was introduced to the US as livestock or for hunting. They are beautiful fairly large birds known for their namesake ring-neck and the striking colors of their feathers. The pheasants around Cape Cod are mostly placed in various wildlife management areas during the Fall for hunting, but will often escape into the wild. Though a very pretty bid they are considered an invasive species. Here are a few Ring-neck Pheasants I’ve come across on my photography adventures
