Hodare everyone! Inspired by Uncanny Valet’s wonderful Giftmas present to nonsequitorcat last year, I am planning (hopefully) to create one for 2026, with all the pets – no, not just cats! that everyone would like to include.

I’m not sure yet what form it will take, but I can’t start figuring out what to do until I have material!

I know we all hate to do it, but if you want your beloved cat or dog or rabbit or chicken or snake or the spider that watches over you as you sleep to be included, please submit your photographs in this thread! Here is my lovely assistant Roo to demonstrate the ideal kind of image that will give me more freedom in the design:

This is just a guide though! It’s not like I will reject your pets if you can’t. And submit as many as you’d like, the more to choose from the better!

If you have any higher quality images than Disqus will permit you to post, you can always send them directly to the mod email address if you feel comfortable doing so.

There’s no deadline (Yet!!!) so don’t feel you need to be in a mad rush to pick photographs.
