Comics rely on a supporting cast to keep up the drama, bring in humor, introduce new story elements or any number of useful storytelling elements. But sometimes they get left behind. Maybe a new creator comes in who isn’t interested in using the old cast. Suddenly the main character moves or gets a new job or breaks up with their significant other or maybe someone meets a violent end.
