Part of my job selling wild caught seafood at farmers markets is to offer samples of our smoked fish. We have both salmon and sable as fresh smoked and made into cream cheese based spreads. The markets I work open at 7am and if people engage me I’ll offer them samples. I’m always surprised when someone responds, “Fish in the morning?” and makes a crinkle-nosed face. I’d venture to guess that more than half of the people on this planet eat fish for breakfast. As I type this I’m eating a mix of both above mentioned species scattered over leftover sushi rice for breakfast and loving it. How ’bout you Avocados, who eats fish for breakfast?
