Toby Fox Voices John Egbert in New Homestuck Animation by Vivziepop

Homestuck, the last and greatest of Andrew Hussie’s “MS Paint Adventures” in which readers submitted commands to determine what the characters do, is at last going to retroactively justify its outsized presence at every anime convention by getting an anime! And who better to animate it than the new generation’s torchbearer of “internet-originated media garnering a disproportionate amount of hate, only some of it justified,” Vivienne Madrano of Hazbin Hotel fame/infamy!

And who better to voice the main character of Homestuck than Toby Fox, best-known for voicing John Egbert years ago in his seminal album, I’m Having a Baby and the Baby is You before swiftly being banned from the Homstuck forums. Also he made some kind of indie RPG later on? I dunno.

I’d link to the website on which Homestuck can be read, but they still haven’t gotten around to making it functional again for several years and the site is currently just a bunch of broken images. There are some fanmade readers that work pretty well, such as this one and this other one.
