I was going to try to explain the context of this scene…but quickly realized that would only make things more confusing. If Galactus sounds familiar, it’s because he was memorably voiced by none other than the late Tony Jay, which I guess means Galactus is sexy. Also, this was the very first (and last?) time Ghost Rider appeared on the 1994 Fantastic Four cartoon, and Thor was in this episode too, voiced by none other than John Rhys-Davies. So yeah, this show was stacked with guest stars, especially during its second season (including Mark Hamill as a villain, because who else would he have played on a 90s cartoon?).

As an aside, Jay would usually voice menacing characters, but he was capable of being very warm and funny too, as demonstrated by this UNINTENTIONALLY TERRIFYING SPIDER CREATURE!
