Life sometimes takes a bit of an unexpected turn. Sometimes you have nothing to do for weeks but write weekly movie thread posts. All of the discussion prompts flowing out of you like an eternal cinematic idea river. Other times you start a new job the day after you end your vacation and finish up your 2.5 year D&D campaign. This is those times. New job is the big one this week as I have found it pretty mentally draining being responsible for more (I am getting my feet under me this week though) and given the fact that this is my first new job in 14 years it is hard for me to accept that I don’t know everything about my job any more. As such I am invoking my roughly twice a year right to declare open prompt week. Whatever you choose to respond with is the discussion of the moment.
