What are great moments when a character stood up to oppression or tyranny or just a bully? Win or lose, the character fought for their principles, their community, or just a shared sense of humanity? What rousing moments have stuck with you and bring you inspiration or comfort?

I’m not the boss of you but so you can talk about beating the odds in other ways, I can’t stop you. But I’m more thinking about standing up to someone/thing rather than say, Spider-Man finding the strength to lift rubble that trapped him in Amazing Spider-Man #33. We’ll get to that in one of these posts…
