Punch Punch Forever Begins 3rd Episode
This delightfully-silly vintage anime parody continues to make me laugh. There’s just something about Gogo’s character design that makes seeing her get thrown around adorable and hilarious at the same time. Like when people make videos where they fill a plushie with millk and slap it everywhere.
Titmouse, KC Green Partner on ‘Anime Club’ Animated Series
This one really caught me by surprise! KC Green, creator of Gunshow and most well-known for the half-dozen internet memes that few people realize all came from it, at one point made a mini-series within his webcomic about a quartet of socially-maladjusted dweebs trying to keep their anime club from falling to self-inflicted chaos. I’d always been fond of it, though I’m not sure how you scale that kind of thing up to a full TV show without most of the cast becoming insufferable. Titmouse is a strong studio, though, so I guess we’ll see what happens! It’s Animation Time!
