The  Stanley Cup Finals are here once more, and it’s Déjà vu all over again as we  get a repeat of last year’s finals! That’s right my fellow Avocadonauts; It’s the Florida Panthers against the Edmonton Oilers! 

Thunder!… Thunder!… Thunder Cats HO! The defending Stanley Cup Champions are back and looking stronger than last year! They ripped through intrastate rivals Tampa Bay Lighting, then after a shaky start they raked away the hapless Toronto Maple Leafs; before finally they turned the Carolina Hurricanes into a gentle breeze! The Florida Panthers seem to be a team of destiny; an evil destiny of course, but a destiny nonetheless! 

The hopes of the entire Dominion of Canada are with the Edmonton Oilers! It was business as usual in the first round as they beat down the LA Kings, then proceeded to fold the Vegas Golden Knights, and finally shot the Dallas Stars down with a fair amount of ease! Will this be the year the Stanley Cup returns to Canada for the first time since ‘93?
