Discussion Prompt: I recently attended my first game convention, and even participated in a panel discussion, along with my son, about multigenerational gaming (ie, adults and kids playing at the same table). It was a pretty small con, and CG Jr and I unfortunately didn’t get to join any of the organized game tables there, but it was fun. The panel discussion focused more on “public” gaming than on the at-home games that we’re more used to, but it was still fun to talk to other gamer parents for a little bit and compare notes. Tell us about your experiences with game cons, whether they’re small, local conventions or major events like PAX Unplugged.
