Tonight we have a 16-minute version of “Kitty’s Back” from Bruce Springsteen’s sophomore album, The Wild, The Innocent, and The E Street Shuffle, performed live with The E Street Band at the Hammersmith Odeon, London, in 1975.
Come for the unironic ‘70s slang, stay for the kickin’ organ solo.
And the piano solo.
Saxophone solo goes without saying.
Bruce is pretty rad on the guitar too.
In conclusion, white fedoras.
I honestly recommend watching and/or listening to the entire concert, it’s pretty much one of the best things that ever happened.
Happy Night Threading!
Bonus prompt: Whose outfit do you want the most? I want Steven Van Zandt’s.
