We talked about this once before but it was a popular topic. Do you supplement your writing with things like maps, charts, family trees, timelines, glossaries, appendices, various illustrations? Do you spend too much time drawing the perfect map and not enough time thinking about what happens in those places on the map? Do you appreciate this when reading? What other supplemental materials have you created or thought about creating?
