Not much going on in my neck of the woods creatively, partly because the management company’s been showing my apartment almost daily for the past couple of weeks and I try to be out of the place when it happens. I’d say the digs were a hot ticket, if (a) it was 1925 and (b) I didn’t suspect that it was more that the company overestimates people’s willingness to pay over $1200 for a 150-sq. ft. efficiency (and for a ten month lease, at that) in a town that isn’t New York or even Chicago (I have no experience of San Francisco, but I expect things are much the same). Hoping I find a modus vivendi with this as with so much else (or at least that someone rents it soon so I can paint properly again).

The header photo’s from the Festifools parade in downtown Ann Arbor; just made it there after work. Though I’m never been a massive fan, it’s a fun distraction and symptomatic right now of the efforts myself and so many others are making just to make it (both due to the general situation and the obnoxious weather that’s been going on all month).
