Yes friends, it is once again time to celebrate ME! I’m 43 this year, if you must know.

Here are some of the interesting things that have happened / are happening on April 6, besides yrs truly being born:

• 1327- The poet Petrarch (supposedly) first sees his idealized love, Laura, who he would write 300+ sonnets to
• 1969 (nice) – Actor Paul Rudd is born
• April 5 (yes I’m cheating), 1980 – R.E.M. plays for the first time at the former St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Athens, GA.
• TODAY: International Asexuality Day – I find this quite funny because I myself am asexual, but only in recent years accepted that label for myself.
