I turn 30 tomorrow but that day was already signed up for and people are coming over tonight anyway. 30 is often seen as one of the big age jumps in society and for many marks the real transition into aging and declining. Things start hurting. You can’t eat or drink whatever you want without consequences. You are in theory more set in your ways and have been a part of adult life for a good while. Well I’m still terrible at being an adult and everyone I know still acts basically the same as they always did. I think as we age we do mature and learn but there is never a hard switch where suddenly we are just “adult.” We have to survive sure but I still spend my free time doing the same things I was doing at 15. In many ways I act less mature now honestly.
