You rush into the kitchen, but no one is there.

There is something on the floor, though. And it smells. Pretty bad, in fact.

Some gross seafood is your best guess.

It’s red on the ground. You’re not sure if it’s blood or if it’s from the food (or both), but either way, it seems like a bad idea to touch it.

As you sigh, the white noise of the TV is drowned out only by the sound of your heart, beating mercilessly, as you frantically waver between wanting to find the fiends who did this, and worrying if you’ll be next.
