The Tuesday day thread is about a particular brand of coffee. It prompted me to ask how you prepare your daily or regular coffee. If that’s not your morning beverage of choice what is and how do you make it?

My daily is with a cone filter drip machine. It’s fairly simple and easy to get consistent results which is what I need while I’m still waking up. If I’m having a cup later in the day I typically go with a French press or a moka pot. If I had a pour over set up I’d use it too. I don’t have anything too fancy or complicated. My older stepson was a barista after college and he’s still way into espresso and the like. He’s got a pretty fancy rig at his home and I have to say he turns out a really tasty and enjoyable drink. I’m happy to have a cup when we’re over but still have no desire to try to do that myself.
