We have finally made it to the postseason, but most (actually none!) of the players who wear/wore #19 this season did not. And none of these players are particularly special regardless! So by default Brett Rypien, who just got waived from the Vikings so Daniel Jones can be on the postseason roster, gets the featured photo spot. We are in for a grim time, folks.

To riff on Scott Hanson for a moment, let’s go to the quadbox and view four other quarterbacks who also will not be playing in this year’s postseason. We have the Dolphins’ Skylar Thompson, the Patriots’ Joe Milton III, CJ Beathard changing his number and his team once again for the Jaguars and….Trey Lance with the Cowboys. Oh, Trey Lance. At least his school won the FCS championship again a few days ago.

And with that, that is the highest jersey number a quarterback can be in the NFL per their guidelines! Now what will I do for the divisional round?
