Gymkata is a film from 1985 starring American gymnast and thespian Kurt Thomas. Thomas plays CIA SIA agent Jonathan Cabot, who must go undercover to Parmistan (yes, Parmistan) to compete in the deadliest game. Luckily, his gymnastics skills come in handy, as alleys have handy chalked high bars, and Parmistan villages contain pommel horses in the town square:
