Hey, all; Happy And Healthy First Friday of 2025 –

I hope this new year finds you all well, and that you were all able to ring it in with style. I…Wasn’t.

I don’t know if this happens to any of you. But for me, it seems that, once the holidays are done, whatever bugs, germs, or other ephemera that were kept at bay in the interim make a united siege on my body; and, even in the best of circumstances, leave me with Lucifer’s Own head cold. While the masses rang in the New Year with strong drink and spirits, I was testing out a variation on the traditional Screwdriver; keeping the orange juice, but subbing in some NyQuil. Not the best cocktail I’ve ever made, but you work with what you have.

Anyway, don’t worry about it, I’ve had plenty of good New Years to look back upon fondly in the lead up to this one, and I’m certain I’ll have plenty more to follow. Let us focus on the hopes and dreams of the coming year…And, failing that, at make sure our first pisses and moans of 2025 are out there for all to see. Catch you all, later; I think I’ll have a Mucinex for lunch, today.
