I first heard the song To You about ten years ago thanks to an Ask a Korean blogpost, as well as the mournful follow-up post about a month later. Not long afterwards, I found a version with a different synth melody and found that I preferred this version. And that was that…until…Squid Game 2. That skittering synth intro started rising from the audio background and, once I recognized it, I could not help but grin.
